Advanced aesthetics and wellbeing under one roof

Narumi grew out of a simple idea: caring for your skin and caring for yourself shouldn’t be separate things. That’s why two worlds sit side by side in our treatment rooms. On one side, advanced aesthetics: diode laser hair removal, radiofrequency, Dermapen, chemical peels, LED light facials and Bellaction Duo, techniques that aim for a visible, gradual improvement. On the other, wellbeing: Kobido, massage, pressotherapy and our spa rituals, designed so that the time you spend with us is also a chance to rest.

We don’t think one takes anything away from the other. A technical treatment is a better experience in a calm space with someone looking after you, and a moment of relaxation makes more sense when it also does your skin some good.

Why a Japanese name

Narumi is a Japanese name, and we chose it because it sums up how we want to work: calmly, with attention to detail and with respect for each person’s pace. That spirit runs through Kobido, a facial massage technique from the Japanese tradition that features in our rituals, and through the space itself: one of our treatment rooms has a mural of Mount Fuji, a pagoda and cherry blossom. It’s a nod, not a costume: what we do is professional aesthetics, with care as the common thread.

How we work

• Always a consultation first. Before any treatment, Marta looks at your skin or the area to be treated, asks about your health and listens to what you’re hoping for. From there she suggests a plan: which technique, how many sessions and how often.
• Honesty before sales. If a treatment won’t give you what you’re looking for, we’ll tell you. If it isn’t the right time, we’ll tell you that too. We’d rather you came back because you trust us, not because we promised you something.
• Realistic expectations. Advanced aesthetics improves the look of the skin gradually. Results vary from person to person, and we explain that before you start.
• Clear prices. We publish our prices including VAT, with courses and packages, and confirm your plan before you begin.

What we don’t do

We’re a beauty and aesthetics centre, not a clinic. We don’t offer medical aesthetics: no fillers, no botulinum toxin, no threads, nor any other treatment that requires a healthcare professional. Nor do we diagnose or treat skin lesions. If during the consultation we notice something a doctor or dermatologist should look at, such as a mole or mark that has changed or inflamed acne, we’ll tell you and won’t carry out the treatment until you’ve had their opinion.

Who’s behind Narumi

Narumi is run by Marta Fernández, an advanced aesthetics specialist with more than 15 years’ experience, a master’s in professional makeup and expertise in colour theory.
