Laser hair removal
Full body laser hair removal in Málaga
Full body laser hair removal treats the main body areas in one session with a diode laser with a cooled sapphire tip, for long-lasting, progressive hair reduction. At Narumi, in Málaga city centre, it's carried out by Marta Fernández. There's also a half body option, upper or lower. A full session takes between an hour and a half and two hours, and the course is usually 6 to 8 sessions spread over the year.
- Duration
- 1 hr 30 min to 2 hrs for full body; around 1 hr for half body
- Sessions
- Roughly 6–8 overall; quicker areas finish sooner
- How often
- About every 8 weeks, to keep all areas in step
- How it feels
- Varies by area: easy on legs and arms, more intense on the bikini line and underarms
What you can (and can't) expect
What it helps with
- Hair on every treated area, which grows back sparser and finer
- The total time you spend on hair removal each week
- Organisation: one appointment every two months instead of several
- Irritation and ingrown hairs across different areas
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't speed things up: each area still needs its sessions
- It doesn't work on grey or very light hair in any area
- It's no substitute for seeing your doctor if hair growth has increased suddenly
Is it right for you?
Ideal for
- Anyone who already shaves or waxes almost their whole body
- Anyone who wants to approach laser as a yearly plan rather than one-off appointments
- Men who want to treat their back, chest, stomach and arms
- Anyone treating three or more areas who wants to compare the package with single areas
When we don't carry it out
- A recent tan on any area: only untanned areas are treated
- Pregnancy
- Photosensitising medication or recent isotretinoin without your doctor's go-ahead
- Prominent varicose veins, tattoos, moles or lesions: these are left out of the treated area
- Infection or irritation in any area: that part is postponed
If you're unsure about your own situation, check with your doctor first. We'll go through it with you at your initial consultation.
Your session, step by step
-
Mapping the areas
At your consultation we go through what the package includes, which areas matter most to you and which have hair that wouldn't respond, such as very light hair.
-
Shaving everywhere
Come shaved from the day before. Any areas you can't reach, such as your back, we'll tidy up in the treatment room.
-
Working in order
We work in blocks, always in the same order, so no area is missed and you can rest between one and the next.
-
Breaks
It's a long session: ask for a break whenever you need to change position or have some water.
-
Soothing and scheduling
A soothing product all over and the date of your next appointment, taking into account trips, summer and areas that are almost finished.
What treating the whole body at once means
Full body isn’t a different technique: it’s the same diode laser applied to several areas in a single appointment. The difference is organisation. Instead of keeping one schedule for your underarms, another for your bikini line and another for your legs, everything moves forward at the same pace, with an appointment roughly every eight weeks.
For it to work, each area has to be ready on the day: shaved, untanned and free of irritation. If one isn’t, it’s left out that day and the rest is treated. And as each area responds at its own speed, the plan isn’t fixed: halfway through there are usually areas that are almost finished and others that need more.
Half body: the middle option
Many people don’t need full body. If your hair is concentrated in the lower half (legs, feet, bikini line), lower half body covers what shows most in summer. If you’re a man and it’s your back, chest and stomach that bother you, upper half body is usually the most sensible choice. It’s a session of around an hour and a good balance between single areas and full body.
A yearly plan, not a string of appointments
With a session every two months, a full body course takes up a good part of a year. In Málaga, where the sun is strong for many months, the sensible approach is to start in autumn, make progress through winter and spring, and adapt in summer: exposed areas are paused and covered ones carry on. At your consultation we map out that calendar with you, holidays included.
Before you decide, think about which areas you actually remove hair from today. If the answer is “almost all of them”, full body simplifies things and usually pays off. If it’s two, start with those: you can move to a bigger package at any time. You’ll find the details for each area on legs, bikini line, underarms and men.

What our clients say
Frequently asked questions
Where can I get full body laser hair removal in Málaga?
At Narumi, Calle Cristo de la Epidemia 33, in Málaga city centre, a few minutes' walk from the historic centre and La Victoria. As it's a long session, we book it with plenty of time in a private treatment room. Marta Fernández carries out the consultation and every session with a diode laser with a cooled sapphire tip.
Which areas does full body include?
It covers the main body areas in one session, such as legs, bikini and pubic area, underarms, arms, stomach and back or chest. At your consultation we'll tell you exactly what's included, whether any facial area is part of it, and which areas aren't worth treating because the hair is very light or very fine. That way you know from the start what the package covers.
What's the difference between upper and lower half body?
Upper half body focuses on the top half: arms, underarms, chest, stomach and back, and it's the one most men choose. Lower half body covers the bottom half: legs, feet, bikini and pubic area or buttocks, and it's the usual choice for women who want summer sorted. We agree the exact boundaries of each at your consultation.
How long does a full body session take?
Between an hour and a half and two hours, depending on the surface, hair density and whether any area needs shaving first. Half body takes around an hour. You can ask for breaks whenever you need. We'd recommend not booking anything straight afterwards, as it's not an appointment where you want to be watching the clock.
Is full body better value than paying for single areas?
If you're treating three or more large areas, it usually is: the package tends to work out cheaper than adding them up, and it puts everything into one appointment. If only one or two areas bother you, single areas or a smaller package make more sense. All prices are in the table on this page and on our prices page; at your consultation we'll do the maths with you.
Do all areas finish at the same time?
No. Underarms and the bikini line tend to respond sooner; legs and men's backs may need a few more sessions. Once an area is done, we leave it out or only treat it when needed, and carry on with the rest. That's why we review the plan every few sessions rather than repeating the same thing out of habit.
How do I plan full body laser over the year in Málaga?
The easiest way is to start in autumn and have a session roughly every eight weeks until spring. In summer, areas that get the sun, such as legs, arms or back, are paused or spaced out, while covered areas can carry on with care. In autumn we pick up the full plan again. That way, most of the work is usually done within a year.
What if an area is tanned on the day?
That area is left out that day and we treat the rest. Laser on tanned skin increases the risk of marks or burns, and it isn't worth it. That's why, with full body, the 15 days without sun or fake tan before and after each session apply to your whole body, not just one area.
Do I need to prepare in any special way for such a long session?
Shave the day before without rushing; if you can't reach your back or the backs of your legs, we'll tidy them up in the room. Come without creams or deodorant, in comfortable clothes and having eaten something. If you're particularly tired or your skin feels sensitive on the day, let us know: we'd rather adapt the session than do it when you're not up to it.
